Blended Learning: Online Cognitive + Hands-On Skills
Course Overview

AHA HeartCode® BLS combines online learning with hands-on skills practice and testing. Complete the American Heart Association online portion at your own pace, then complete your skills session with Finish Strong CPR & Medical Training.
This blended-learning format is designed for healthcare professionals who need an American Heart Association BLS Provider certification while minimizing time spent in a traditional classroom.
What You Will Learn
Part 1 (Heartcode Online): Cognitive learning, interactive cases, and written test- Part 2 (In-Person): Hands-on skills practice and assessment
Participants learn high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants; effective ventilations; AED use; recognition and response to cardiac arrest; choking response; and effective team-based resuscitation skills.
The hands-on portion is in-person at our CPR station and is used to perform skills assessment. An IN-PERSON skills assessment is REQUIRED for successful AHA course completion.
