OUR FOUNDERS
Dr. Cori Russell | Co-Founder & Director of Education
Dr. Cori Russell brings more than 20 years of experience in emergency response, rehabilitation, healthcare education, and working with collegiate and professional sports teams.
With a background in hands-on patient care, higher education, and professional education development, Dr. Russell co-founded Finish Strong CPR & Medical Training to provide practical, high-quality education that prepares people to respond confidently when it matters most.
Throughout a career in healthcare and education, Dr. Russell has seen the difference between simply completing required training and being truly prepared to respond. She leads Finish Strong’s educational standards and program development with a focus on training that builds real-world competence, confidence, and readiness.
Alex Russell | Co-Founder & CFO
Alex Russell brings a background in accounting, finance, and organizational operations to the leadership of Finish Strong CPR & Medical Training.
A personal connection to emergency preparedness began in 2017 after successfully responding when an infant daughter began choking—an experience that reinforced the importance of giving parents, caregivers, and communities the skills and confidence to respond during an emergency.
As Co-Founder, Alex oversees business operations and customer experience while helping expand access to high-quality CPR, first aid, and emergency preparedness training across Florida.

- We are proud providers of American Heart Association (AHA), CPR, AED & First Aid Classes. Our CPR certification curriculum conforms to current AHA guidelines.
