She earned her doctorate of Health Science specializing in medical education from A.T. Still University in 2017. Her passion is to continue to create safer communities by improving students access to high quality hands-on health & safety training and resources such as Automated External Defibrillators in public locations.
Dr. Russell is a certified American Heart Association Instructor and Training Center Faculty that has served 5 years as a Professor of Sports Medicine. She is also a certified Stop the Bleed Instructor, Red Cross Instructor, Health Safety Institute CPR AED First Aid Instructor and ECSI Instructor Trainer.
Dr. Russell credits her success to participating in sports at an early age and her mother's inspiration. Her motto is "Challenges will come your way, but keep learning, growing, and improving".
